Definitions

The company is the furniture shop that sells home & professional equipment.

The customer is any organization or company or private individual who receives goods or services from the site http://www.epiplokinisi.gr or from our shop.

The merchandise or products or services are any product that is the subject of any contract or order between the customer and the company.

Order is any written or oral agreement between the customer and the company so the latter can provide the customer with products or services.

Material is the content of the website or the physical shop.

Prices

The prices are in euros and include VAT 24%. Any exception will be clearly formulated on our website with a relevant link. For foreign customers who pay by credit card with a foreign currency, there is automatic conversion into their country’s currency. The rate is determined by the bank where they have issued the credit card and it is beyond our responsibility.

The prices of the products may be modified with no prior warning. For orders that have not been paid off in advance, the current prices of the electronic shop apply, even if the order had been placed with a different price.

B) by making a deposit to a bank account of your choice:

 

Product availability

The products displayed on our website may not always be available. In case the product selected by the customer is not available, they will be updated on the estimated availability date and the estimated delivery date the following day after the order was placed.

The indication of the day of merchandise receipt shall be estimated, can change with no prior warning and does not constitute a commitment contract on the part of the shop towards the customer. In case the delivery is long overdue, we will make every diligent effort to keep you updated.

We reserve the right to cancel any customer’s order and give them a refund in case a product is not available or in case technical failure renders the product unable to meet its features specifications.

 

Product images and descriptions

The colors of the product images as depicted on our site may have been influenced by the technology you use to have access to our website and the display settings you have selected on your computer and that we have no access to.

The company does its best to ensure a decent and faithful representation of colors.

 

Order acceptance and security

When you place an order over the phone or in writing, we will treat it as an offer to make a purchase. If we accept the order, we will send you an e-mail or a confirmation message with the order number.

Confirmed orders mean full acceptance of the terms of use.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order if deemed necessary. In that case we will notify you via e-mail or text message as soon as possible.

When you receive the e-mail or the text message with the order confirmation, you will have the chance to check and correct any mistake.

In order to decide on whether to accept your order, we can use the information you provided or that we already keep about you for the confirmation of your identity to prevent malicious transactions.

 

Advance payments

For the acceptance of orders that are not in our warehouses or relate to products in special colors and dimensions or where deemed necessary by the company, an advance payment of 35 – 50% over the total sum of the order is required.

 

Deliveries

The order products are shipped and received across the whole Greece through a freight forwarding service.

The charge the customer is borne by relates to the shipment of merchandise from the headquarters of the freight forwarding company in their area (except the Prefecture of Chalkidiki, served by forwarding agencies in Thessaloniki).

If the customer wishes to have door step delivery, they should negotiate the cost with the freight forwarding company in question.

For the city of Athens, the deliveries of the products are carried out on the sidewalk. If the customer wishes to have delivery on a floor, they should come to a separate agreement with the agency.
The shipping cost is a minimum of €30. In case the shipping cost differs, we contact the customer before the shipment of the products to give them a detailed update.

Deliveries in the prefectures of Argolis–Corinth–Arcadia shall not be borne by the customer. For purchases over 900 euros the products are shipped for free.

The delivery department uses the details as stated during the order. You are not obliged to provide the delivery department with your phone number. However, in case you do not do so, or you state the wrong number, the products will be returned to our warehouses, and you are then responsible for any shipping charge involved in the reshipment of the order.

Your phone number will not be given to any third parties for advertising purposes. Please read our privacy policy.

You can ask for the option of friends or relatives receiving the order on your behalf at a different address than yours through a relevant option on the site either following phone contact or e-mail.
All deliveries are signed by you, and you shall keep the receipt.

In case the delivered goods have any signs of damage due to transport, you can refuse to receive them, state it in writing in the form you will sign or indicate it to the delivery staff.

In any other case, we assume no responsibility.

 

Cancellations and Returns

To return a product or the whole order because you would like to change the color, you have regretted it, or you are not satisfied, all you need to do is send it back to us within (14) calendar days from the day of receipt via any freight forwarding company of your choice (courier, forwarding service or any other) at your own shipping costs.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: You are responsible for the merchandise until it arrives at our warehouses, thus you must make sure that it is properly packaged and will not suffer any damage during transport. We make every possible effort to accept all returns that arrive, so in case a product returns in an inappropriate condition, then you will receive it back.

Essential conditions for product return:
1. The product has not suffered any voluntary or involuntary damage on the part of the customer (not careful removal of its packaging, wrong assemblage, non-indicative use etc.).
2. The product has not been used.
3. The product is accompanied by its original packaging and the whole content of it.
4. For the goods that have special factory packaging, their packaging should not have been infringed or damaged.
5. Any tags or brand marks etc. that may indicate the products should not have been removed.
6. The product to be returned is accompanied by an invoice copy or the retail receipt.

WARNING: THE PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN ORDERED, ARE SPECIALLY MANUFACTURED, OR ARE MADE OF SPECIAL COLOR / WOOD / FABRIC OR IN GENERAL SPECIAL DIMENSIONS OR FEATURES CANNOT BE RETURNED.

Finally, in any case in order to proceed to any product return, you necessarily have to fill out the special product return form that you will find by clicking here.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Whether you wish to exchange a product for another one or return a product due to a defect, the process is the following: Once we receive your return, the necessary inspection on the returned product will be carried out and as long as it meets all the return conditions, then our company will send you the same product anew or will return to you the value of the returned product or products to a bank account you will indicate in writing. This usually lasts 1-3 working days from the moment inspection is carried out.

 

Damages during transport

We thoroughly examine all products before shipment to ensure the proper condition they are in. This does not apply to products imported from foreign houses or industries outside Attica, delivered with the packaging of the house or the industry through a freight forwarding service directly from the factory. Nonetheless, damages during delivery can occur even by our most experienced crew. In this case, we assume all responsibility as a company and you can either not receive the product, you can state it in writing in the form you will sign, or you can indicate it to the delivery staff. That way we will receive the product on any other day and replace it with an estimated delivery date, which will depend on the origin of the product. Alternatively, we can give you a refund to a bank account you will indicate in writing.

 

Refunds

All refunds are carried out through wire transfer to a bank account you will indicate in writing. Any refund cost shall be borne by the customer.

 

Right of withdrawal

All transactions carried out via our website are governed by the International and European Law that regulates issues regarding electronic commerce as well as the Law on consumer protection (Law 2251/1994). Our company has taken all necessary measures to ensure the best possible safety. Every customer of our electronic shop https://www.epiplokinisi.gr has the right, in accordance with the applicable legislation, to withdraw from the sale unjustifiably, by filling out the relevant withdrawal application, which they are obliged to share via email at info@epiplokinisi.gr and return the product they purchased within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt. In that case the return cost shall be borne by the customer. In order for the return to be accepted, the product should be in its original packaging, in full form and in the condition it was delivered in, with no damages, and it should not have been used. In addition, it must necessarily be accompanied by the original receipt or purchase invoice. Before every return, the customer ought to contact the company to set the date of product receipt. Return of part of the purchase is carried out in the same way as the payment for the purchase has been carried out within thirty (30) calendar days from the product receipt in the aforementioned condition.

Upon registering on our website, you accept to receive e-mail newsletters from the present website as well as the company’s affiliated websites unless you state otherwise, in which case your details are deleted from our update list.

Applicable Law

All transactions carried out via the website https://www.epiplokinisi.gr are governed by the International and European Law that regulates issues regarding electronic commerce (Directive 2000/31/EC, Presidential Decree 131/2003) as well as the Law on consumer protection (Law 2251/1994) that regulates issues regarding remote sales. The courts of the town of Nafplio shall have jurisdiction ratione materiae over any dispute or controversy arising from the use of the present website.
